The tour will begin with a Kick-Off Supper in Live Oak, FL, on Monday, June 5, and end near Metter, Georgia on Wednesday, June 7, 2023.

Monday, June 5, 2023

The tour will begin with a Kick-Off Supper at the Brown Lantern, 417 E Howard St, Live Oak, FL 32064. Supper will be served at 7:00 p.m. Please register or contact J. Michael if you will attend.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites, 6694 US 129 North, Live Oak, FL, 32060. Please call (386) 362-2600 to make your reservation.

Tuesday morning, the tour will leave the Holiday Inn Express and Suites at Live Oak at 7:30 a.m. to visit Florida and Georgia tobacco farms, on-farm demonstrations and producers.  Lunch will be in Georgia. After noon, we will visit several additional on-farm demonstration sites in Georgia and finish the day in Tifton, GA., for the evening.

Tuesday evening, the Georgia Tobacco Tour headquarters will be the Holiday Inn Express in Tifton, GA. (PH: 229-382-3300). Use this booking link to make your reservation with the Holiday Inn Express in Tifton.

Wednesday morning, the tour will leave the Applebee’s parking lot in Tifton at 7:30 a.m. and visit on-farm demonstrations, tobacco farms and tobacco growers in Georgia.  Lunch will be served on the Holland Farm in Candler County.
